How to Broadcast on ReplayKit 2 for iOS 11.0 or higher
First we have to make sure screen record is toggled on your device. Go into the settings on your device and then go to Control Panel
From there, click custom controls and then scroll down to Screen Recording. Click the green button on the left of it to include it within control panel.
To start broadcasting, click the top left corner of the main menu to bring up your profile
From there click Broadcast and then enter the title of your stream and then select the game you are streaming
After that, go into the control panel, hold down the screen record button, select Mobcrush and turn the Mic on and make sure your device is unmuted so that the stream can hear game audio, and then press start broadcast and boom you are live!
YOU HAVE TO GO INTO THE MOBILE APP AND CHANGE THE TITLE AND GAME YOU ARE BROADCASTING EVERY TIME YOU STREAM ON iOS 11 IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT.
To broadcast sound, the device must be un -muted OR the microphone must be on in the broadcast setup screen
It is NOT possible to stream your camera using this method
Device orientation may change based on how you hold the device, make sure to hold your device straight upright or horizontally while playing
After all that you should be able to stream any game you want on iOS! Have fun!!
YOU HAVE TO UNMUTE YOUR MOBILE DEVICE BEFORE STREAMING IF YOU WANT TO RECORD THE INGAME AUDIO. IF YOU MOVE TO ANOTHER APP WHILE STEAMING IT COULD STOP THE AUDIO CAPTURE ON THE FIRST GAME YOU WERE STREAMING.
You also cannot play music on your phone and still capture the ingame audio while using ReplayKit 2. You will have to turn the mic on and play it in the background. iOS does still have some restriction in ReplayKit 2
Tips & tricks:
There can be a 10-30 second delay before a broadcast starts
If you can’t figure out how to broadcast in a game, contact the support team for the developer to find out how
If you’d like a game to add mobile broadcasting support, contact the developer and request that they support ReplayKit
